Tom Little is a producer and video journalist based in Stockholm, covering the Nordic countries for AFP news agency.

He has reported across northern Europe and the Arctic, covering elections, the effects of climate change in Greenland and Sweden, NATO exercises in Norway and, most recently, the Covid-19 pandemic.

Previously he was the agency’s deputy video chief editor in the Middle East, covering the Arab world as a senior producer, video journalist and reporter, travelling to cover stories such as Donald Trump’s visit to Jerusalem and the battle for Mosul.

As AFP's Sudan bureau chief from 2014-2016, he reported from across Africa's fifth-largest country, shooting video and writing stories from across Sudan, including Darfur.

Tom speaks fluent Arabic and French and advanced Swedish.
